Citrus Sunshine Pork Chops

Ingredients

1-1/2 lb. pork chops

1 teaspoon grated orange and 1 lemon rind

1/4 cup orange juice

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 tablespoons minced fresh chives or green onions

3/4 teaspoons chili powder

1/2 teaspoon each paprika and pepper

1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

Directions

Trim all but 1/4-in. fat from chops; nick fat at intervals.

In shallow dish, large enough to hold chops in single layer. mix together orange and lemon rind, orange and lemon juices, oil, chives, chili powder, paprika, pepper and hot pepper sauce. Add chops, coating on both sides; marinate, covered, in fridge for at least 1 hour or up to one day.

Place chops on greased grill, 4 inches from medium=high heat. Grill, turning once and brushing with any remaining marinade, for 12 to 15 min. or until no longer pink inside. Season with salt to taste. Makes 4 servings.
